About Online CPR/First Aid Classes

Okay, we looked through and investigated a number of online CPR classes. CPR Today offers a few online courses, however, they are not endorsed by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. There are some good things and some bad things about this kind of activity. First of all, the certification obtained is NOT a standard for healthcare providers. Most states require either ASHI Certification or American Heart Association Certification, but if you are just looking for information about how to do CPR, online classes are helpful.

We do not endorse such classes due to their "quick and easy" approach, but again, they are somewhat helpful for information purposes.

If you are interested in completing a CPR class in a more efficient, yet non-traditional manner. You can register for an online CPR course. Once the class is completed, you can attend an hour training session for verification of skills. If you are interested in this flex online certification. Click Here

This is because you need to know what CPR feels like and what you are physically doing. When you do CPR on a person, if you just take a class online, your body has no physical reference for performing the skill. Make sure you are confident about your skills and ensure that you are getting the proper credentials when you recertify online
